How the Roadhouse show went!

WIshepea and boston lonely were no shows. So we had a good time, we played about a 40 min set to our people. We have fresh recordings and pics from the show that will be up on various sites soon. Fantastic!

A Real Show!!???

Yeee-Haaaa!!!!
I just got an E-mail saying that we can play a show at The Roadhouse!!
I want to tell my band mates but they are asleep! I hope they are as excited as I am!!
Unfortunatly it is a 21 and up show, so some of my friends can't come..... heka sucks, but o well!!!
la la la!! This time we get to rock out!!

Hi!! My name is Leticia and this is my first post!! Yay!
Well anyway i had fun, even though we could not really rock out.
I want to play a real show, but at least this was some where to start.
Next time i'll make sure that it's not an acoustic show only!
They wanted us to play without our drummer!! I was like no way!! Either we
all play or not at all!!

Der Spazm @ Speakeasy

We did it. It was different cuz I couldnt use my full kit. And dillo and leticia needed to keep their guitars pretty low. dillo said he had difficulty hearing himself. Some of it was improve for me. I wouldnt mind playing there again if we could play to our full noisyness. BUt not another open mic night.. unless we plan something special for it. like me on bass or something.

Party was cancelled :(

Apparently Lydia did not properly plan the party. She started orchestrating a huge party without confirming it was okay to have it at the warehouse. So, a week before the party she is forced to realize, she cannot have the party she was planning under the notion that it may not materialize any ways. THe day before saturday we found out the party was cancelled through a blog on Lydia's myspace. After a few hours of calling her and her roommate we formally cancel the party on our myspace, by posting a bulletin. We did not have enough time to properly cancel the party or try to find another venue. We suspect Lydia was not going to ever tell us the party was cancelled. That we would have called her when we were on our way, and she would be like "uuhhh the party is cancelled heheheh!" She said she had to tell the people bringing beer and alcohol the party was cancelled first. That sounds logical *sarcastic* don't tell the entertainment thats not important.. needless to say we will not book with Lydia again. She should never book bands in the future because she does not understand common courtesy.
